KT Tape: Tennis Elbow

What is Tennis Elbow? "Tennis Elbow" is the common name describing the painful condition Lateral Epicondylitis (LE), speculatively caused by overuse of the forearm resulting in elbow pain. To no surprise, playing tennis and other racquet sports can be a culprit for its development. However, a variety of other activities or sports can also be the cause of this painful condition. Painters, plumbers, carpenters or others frequently and repetitively employing the use of forearm extensor muscles with gripping objects are prone to developing tennis elbow. The condition is not entirely inflammatory in nature, but rather degenerative by way of micro-tearing between the common extensor tendon and periosteum of the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.

KT Tape: Wrist Sprain

Wrist sprains occur when the ligaments of the wrist are stretched beyond their normal limits. Wrist sprains are graded according to the severity of the injury: Grade I: Mild injury, the ligaments are stretched, but no significant tearing has occurred. Grade II: Moderate injury, the ligaments may be partially torn. Grade III: Severe wrist sprain, the ligaments are completely torn, and there may be instability of the joint. Some common symptoms of a wrist sprain include: Pain with movement of the wrist Swelling around the wrist joint Bruising or discoloration of the skin Burning or tingling sensations around the wrist The diagnosis of a wrist sprain is made by knowing how the injury occurred, and looking at the physical examination findings. There are other wrist problems that can have similar symptoms to a sprain, including wrist tendonitis and a wrist fracture or scaphoid fracture. To ensure that there are not broken bones around the joint, medical imaging using X-Rays and in some cases a MRI can be helpful. This may be done if the diagnosis is unclear or if the symptoms do not resolve as expected. KT Tape provides both support and a mechanical assist to the damaged ligaments reducing pain while enabling greater range of movement during the recovery process. KT Tape is an appropriate treatment for grade I and grade II sprains and late recovery stages of grade III sprains.

The Ocean - Nazca Cover (All Guitars)

I'm proud to announce that this is my first cover of The Ocean and also the first Ocean guitar cover on YouTube! "Nazca" is off "Fluxion", which was rereleased in March of this year on Robin Staps's label Pelagic Records. I did all of the guitar parts by ear and recorded each one. I recorded two distortion tracks (but only one distortion video), two clean tracks, and one solo track. Please pardon my poor video editing skills, as I'm still getting used to Sony Vegas, and the poor video quality on two of the clips (I'll annotate them to let you know which clips).
